A First Glimpse: New Landscapes for In-Between Book II

Discover the Second Children's First Steps out West

The world of In-Between is expanding.
As I continue working on Book II, new places are beginning to take shape — each carrying its own history, tensions, and secrets.
Among them is Allowell, a restless market town and a true melting pot at the heart of shifting allegiances.
Allowell lies within the Lafiri Plains, once part of the Western Kingdoms. In the aftermath of the war between East and West, the region has become a fragile buffer zone caught between past loyalties and uncertain futures, where shifting alliances quietly reshape the balance of power.
Some now whisper of independence… of a Western Kingdom reborn.
Further west lies New Beni Naëhem, a city rebuilt from the remnants of what was lost.
Today, the city stands as one of the last strongholds of ancient knowledge — preserving lost forms of lifeforce wielding and rebuilding the great library once thought gone forever.
Under the rule of the Philynn, it is a city caught between memory and renewal.
These are Alamea, May, Nathan, and Eli’s first steps beyond the Empire.
✨ Which of these places draws you in most?
As In-Between Book II unfolds, the world of Ny’a begins to expand far beyond the Empire — growing richer, more complex… and perhaps more dangerous.
I can’t wait to share more of this journey with you.
